Michael Bay’s Decepticon, and later Autobot, Wheelie, was never meant to be a modern take on the G1 Wheelie. A completely different character, this chatterbox Cybertronian is just as memorable thanks to its crude, adorable nature and its… rather questionable behavior. If you love this little gremlin of a robot, well, good news. Killerbody has created a collectible action figure of the small, frantic Decepticon drone, and it looks fantastic.

The Transformers Wheelie MRP collectible figure looks like it has stepped straight out of the film, just shrunk down to a more display-friendly size. It stands around 16 cm tall (about 6.3 inches) and is packed with articulation. We are talking about over 50 points of articulation, including movable eyebrows and a lower jaw that lets you create surprisingly expressive poses.
The facial sculpt alone deserves a closer look. Wheelie’s eyes light up with orange LED illumination featuring detailed headlight textures, accompanied by intermittent buzzing sound effects that add to the character’s chaotic personality. The armor sports a vivid blue metallic finish layered over a visible mechanical skeleton, while the back hood splits into two panels and proudly carries a raised Decepticon logo.
Key details continue throughout the body, including PVC rubber tires that roll, functioning hydraulic-style shock absorbers, articulated thumbs and wrists with metal rivet joints, and leg armor replicating the truck bed from Wheelie’s vehicle form. Materials include PA, ABS, PVC, and metal with a hand-applied weathered metal paint finish.
It looks absolutely fantastic. Wait. We said that already? Unfortunately, it is an action figure that does not transform. Then again, Hasbro does not let licensee to make transforming Transformers, and even if they allow, the toy will not achieve such realism in robot mode. Well, not unless they are Unique Toys.
Two AG3 batteries are included. The Transformers Wheelie MRP Collectible Action Figure is available from the Killerbody web store for US$69.
