Here’s an exciting, but possibly super frustrating news for fans of Godzilla. There’s a new oversized Godzilla statue in the market by Chinese company MTime. The MTime Godzilla: King of the Monsters statue towers at a majestic 62 centimeters (a little over 24 inches) tall and boasts light dorsal fin and eyes.
It comes with with a based featuring a wrecked city and a part of a destroyed aircraft carrier. It looks like the wall of the based was inspired by the ancient temple in China’s Yunnan Rainforest in the movie and had motifs of the various titans detailed on it. Now, that bit there was the good news.
The frustrating news is, it is not easy to acquire. Apparently, it is only available in China market. But first more about the company behind it. The company behind it is MTime, an online entertainment company in the likes of LETV, but also sells pop culture merchandises.
The company also in the business of making their own pop culture merchandises and the Godzilla: King of the Monsters statue is one of its first major product.
The frustrating part is not limited to buying. Information with regards to this statue is pretty elusive too. However, we do know that it is a limited release of 500 copies and cost roughly $645. If you are keen, you may want to touch base with G-Forever who bought one and even did a video on it with Heisenberg.
