Attention space geeks. Here’s backpack called NASA Flight Suit Rolltop Backpack from Bioworld that screams “I am a space nerd” when you carry it around. Not only is it in the familiar flight suit orange, it is decorated with mission patches. Slow motion walk towards the non-existence rocket in your backyard is entirely optional.
Unfortunately, though, it is not made out real NASA flight suit. Instead, it is made of canvas and as the product name suggests, this backpack has a folded over top opening which is fastens with metal buckles on length-adjustable straps.
The lack of real flight suit material is more than made up by the mission patches which include NASA logo patch, Space Shuttle patch, Apollo/Soyuz patch, ISS patch, and a patch of the flag of the good old U.S. of A.
Other features include multiple inner and outer zipper pockets – including a padded tablet pocket, fits up to 15-inch laptop, length-adjustable padded shoulder straps, and padded back.
The NASA Flight Suit Rolltop Backpack is an officially licensed product. Those folks over at NASA really know how to ring in the cash. Then again, I doubt these merchandises will make any impact on its double digits billion dollars spending each year.
The NASA Flight Suit Rolltop Backpack is sold out on Fun.com, but you can still find it on Otaku’s Shop for US$69.99. If orange isn’t your cuppa, there is a blue and grey version on Amazon going for US$69.95.
