Never mind that Alpine Motors’ sales are never stellar. The company still managed a 5.9% increase in 2024 over 2023. Granted, that only amounted to 4,585 vehicles worldwide, but growth is growth.
Why bring this up? Well, we were kind of expecting Alpine’s active involvement in the Alpine Esports Series and premium motorsport events like Formula 1 and the FIA World Endurance Championship to translate into more car sales. Maybe it’s actually parent company Renault reaping the benefits of all that motorsport R&D?
Anyway, speaking of the FIA World Endurance Championship, Alpine Motors did pretty well with the A424, securing 4th place in the World Endurance Manufacturers’ Championship and snagging a podium finish at Fuji. The marque will continue competing in the 2025 season, and the livery you see here on its A424 Hypercar is what the race car will be wearing this year.
Alpine Motors is set to reveal more about the Alpine Endurance Team and its 2025 driver lineup on February 5. Stay tuned—because, at the very least, the paint job looks fast.
