Nintendo has taken nostalgia to the next level. Celebrating Super Mario Bros.’s 35th anniversary is the reboot of Nintendo Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros.. Game & Watch series of single-game gaming device was Nintendo’s first real successful product. The series sold over 43 million units worldwide.

The Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros. have been updated for the modern world. The left button is now replaced with a D-pad (or +Control Pad in Nintendo’s term) and it will have a full color LCD display.

In addition to playing classic games Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels (aka Super Mario Bros. 2), the handheld gaming device is also preloaded with a special version of the game, Ball with a Mario makeover.

Like the original, the device also doubles as a clock. Though it is not clear if alarm function is in order like the later model version of Game & Watch.

Nintendo said that the Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros. will also come with “35 little touches” for you to discover, including some guest appearances from the world’s famous plumber’s friends and foes.

The Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros. will sell for US$49.99 when it goes on sale on November 13, 2020. Keep going for the product reveal trailer.
