there’s no flashlight that is too bright for the job, but you can’t have all the brightness you want without weighing yourself down. you can have ten men holding regular LED flashlights to get the brightness you needed, or you could use a little help from the NITECORE TM26 QuadRay 3500 Lumen Flashlight. we are obliged to call it a flashlight because it fits right into the hand and your trusty rucksack surely don’t have problem swallowing this Tiny Monster up, but with 3500 lumen on the tap, it is more like a spotlight. really. it uses either four 18650 lithium-ion or eight CR123 batteries to power its four CREE XM-L LED modules and because of its high output, a thermal protection circuit is in place to keep the heat in check.

other highlights include a beam distance of 415 meters, an integrated multi-function OLED display, eight switchable brightness levels and modes, patented single button two-stage switch, toughened ultra-clear mineral glass with anti-reflective coating, precision digital optics technology reflector, stainless steel bezel ring, and a no-nonsense aerospace-grade aluminum alloy construction hard-anodized to HAIII military standard. the TM26 is built for the field and hence, it is totally impact resistant (up to 1.5 meters) and IPX-8 rated for water submersion up to 2 meters. another noteworthy feature is, you can actually run this baby on just a 18650 or two CR123 batteries if the situation calls for it. we are not going to lie to you, as awesome as it is, it is sure expensive as hell at $389.99. but then again, it is still way cheaper then some ‘big names’ out there, if you know what we mean. take a few more look in the gallery below.
