Following the Panasonic SoundSlayer HTB01 Soundbar, Panasonic once again partnered with the sound engineers at Final Fantasy XXIV Online to create Panasonic SoundSlayer Wearable Immersive Gaming Speaker System (WIGSS) SC-GN01.

Panasonic SC-GN01 Wearable Immersive Gaming Speaker System

Soundslayer is basically a speaker that you rest on your shoulder and goes around the neck much like LG Tone Studio and Sony Neckband Speaker. It packs original sound technology with four-channel full-range speakers, paired with original processing technologies like True MAGESS (Majestic Augmented Gaming Environment Sound System) and a high-performance signal processor.

Panasonic the more realistic acoustic field created by the SoundSlayer WIGSS system will make gamers felt as though “they are enveloped by sound in all directions” and thereby enable them to “accurately place footsteps, gunfire and other critical sound effects within the soundscape.”

Like the HTB01, the wearable speaker also offers three distinct gaming sound modes (RPG mode, FPS mode, and Voice mode) – in addition to Music and Cinema modes, which means the speaker is good for music and movie enjoyment too.

Finally, the housing is designed based on the results of human body data and it will sit comfortably on the shoulders even for a long period of time. Well, it sounds like a hear-saving gadget for those who game a lot.

Panasonic SC-GN01 WIGSS system will play well with a variety of devices, from consoles to handhelds to PC.

Panasonic SC-GN01 Wearable Immersive Gaming Speaker System will be available in October 2021 with yet-to-be-announced pricing. Meanwhile, you may learn more about it HERE.
