Peugeot is most known for its automobiles and to some extend, bicycles, but most of people in the U.S. probably did not know the French marque also makes two-wheeler, or more recently, three-wheeler under its Peugeot Motorcycles division (which is soon to be 100 percent owned by Indian automobile maker Mahindra, btw).
Notwithstanding the ‘motorcycles’ namesake, it has been making scooters exclusively since the 1950s. That’s until recently when the brand took the wrap of a concept motorcycle called P2X at the EICMA. In fact, Peugeot Motorcycles had show off the P2X since last year.
No doubt the P2X is a mark of its return to motorcycle making. However, the Peugeot Motorcycles P2X Concept remains as elusive. We find no details on it on this particular example that showed up at EICMA.
But if things remain unchanged since 2018, it should be powered by a liquid-cooled 300 cc single-cylinder DOHC engine, but that’s about all we know. I consider this yet another tease. We trying digging more online, but all we got were minimum details from last year. No mention of its appearance on this year’s EICMA.
