If you haven’t already heard Ralph Lauren is the latest designer label that wants a piece of the gaming space. It has collaborated with Fortnite for a digital collection, among which is a pair of boots. Now, it has taken it further by making this pair of boots, called P-Wing Boot, available in the real world.
Crafted as a wearable replica of the digital version, its molded shell construction showcases unique swivel-point hardware alongside the iconic P-Wing logo. TPU fins, reminiscent of the jet pack glider from the original Polo Stadium collection digital outfit, complement the EVA midsole. The design features a signature Pony–detailed lace keeper and the Fortnite logo at the tongue.
Details include a rounded toe, lace-up front, and two sets of laces. The inner bootie boasts molded inserts, webbed pull tabs at the tongue and heel, and an ergonomic high-density memory foam footbed. Moreover, the shoe exhibits the Fortnite logo on the tongue, the P-wing logo at the shaft, “1992” and “Ralph Lauren est. 1967” on the outer side, and “Polo” at the tongue and heel.
Constructed with an upper and bootie lined with mesh, the footwear boasts an EVA midsole, TPU molded fins at the midsole, and a rubber lug outsole. Its materials include TPU, polyurethane, nylon, elastane, and polyester for the upper, and polyester, nylon, and elastane for the lining. The product is imported and comes packaged in a signature box.
Unfortunately, though, this pair of lovely boots appears to be sold out. It was sold for $250 a pair.
