Here’s a new Porsche Design gadget to go with the new Porsche Design Huawei Mate 40 RS. It’s the Porsche Design Huawei Watch GT 2 Smartwatch and it oozes with Porsche Design vibes.
It may be based on the Huawei Watch GT 2, but aesthetically, it is a whole lot more sophisticated and clearly more luxurious.
It has a got a wear-resistant sapphire glass, a lightweight titanium frame that has the oh-so-Porsche Design seamless look and a customizable dial face that includes designs inspired by dashboard.
Love the minimal look. You won’t know it is a Huawei Watch GT 2 if we did not tell you so.
The watch further features solid buttons (power + function) with a nice orange-red band that’s a nod to Porsche racing heritage and a ceramic that is smooth and comfortable on the skin.
The watch band has a unique butterfly buckle that securely lock in place and yet it is simple to release, and it further touts quick-detachable function, allowing you remove band links to adjust the band’s fit.
Other highlights include a 1.39-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, Kirin At + STL4R9 processor, 4 GB onboard memory, built-in microphone and speaker, GPS, Bluetooth 5.1, 5 ATM water resistant, wireless quick charge (10 minutes for 10 hours use), a 14-day battery life and a bunch of sensors, including accelerometer, gyro, geomagnetic sensor, optical heart rate sensor, as well as air pressure sensor.
The watch offers over 100 workouts, monitors blood oxygen saturation, 24-hour heart rate detection, scientific sleep monitor, stress monitoring, and more. You know, the usual stuff.
The Porsche Design Huawei Watch GT 2 Smartwatch will sell for €695 when it becomes available. Meanwhile, you can learn more HERE.
