Judging from the uncertainty of the third Razer Phone, it is safe to assume Razer may never have a smartwatch at all. But fret not fans of Razer who have longed for a Razer smart timepiece because there is one now. Well, kind of.
At the CES 2022, Razer and Fossil have come together to reveal the Razer x Fossil Gen 6 Smartwatch for Gamers. As the product name implies, the Razer x Fossil Gen 6 Smartwatch is basically the Fossil Gen 6 smartwatch revealed in August.
This limited-edition wearable is said to pack with exclusive Razer branding and industry-leading performance for gamers.
In addition to obvious cosmetics – which include two interchangeable watch straps (a Razer black and a Razer green) and three exclusive Razer watch faces (Analog, Text, and Chroma), the Wear OS-powered wearable also boasts wellness features in line with the brands’ commitments to wellness for gamers.
Beyond that, the Razer x Fossil Gen 6 Smartwatch is pretty much the Fossil Gen 6 we read about. This means features like a 44 mm stainless steel case with top ring and pushers, a 1.28-inch touch display, water resistance to 3ATM (30 meters or 100 feet), Qualcomm Snapdragon 4100+ chip, 1 GB RAM, and 8 GB storage – just to name a few.
The Razer x Fossil Gen 6 Smartwatch will be available – in a limited run of just 1,337 units – this month for US$329 from Fossil.com, Razer.com, and well as select retail stores.
