Ring has announced two new video doorbells, the Ring Video Doorbell 3 and Ring Video Doorbell 3 Plus. Yes. ‘Plus’ has arrived to video doorbell too. Aesthetically, the two looks pretty much like its predecessor, but under the hood, the Ring Video Doorbell does have some upgrades.

Both records in 1080p, support dual-band WiFi (2.4 and 5 GHz), and a new “near” motion zone that is effective between 5 and 15 feet. Setting the Plus apart from the regular model is a thing called “Pre-Roll.”

This feature affords you up to four seconds of video before to a motion-triggered event. In other words, Ring Video Doorbell 3 Plus will start recording even before you receive an alert, thus ensuring what needs to be captured is captured. Perfect for those who are victim of prank ring.
