Yves Saint Laurent (YSL), or better known as Saint Laurent these days, is selling designer label of everything which now includes, condom. That’s right. Luxury condom is a thing and fortunately, though, it does not cost a bomb. And the fact that it isn’t pricey is important because, damn, those the hotel rooms in Paris are not cheap.
Wait. Did I took it too far, too soon? Never mind. Anyways, the official product page of the Saint Laurent Condom does not provide a lot of details, but do you need to know more other than it is a condom and one from YSL? Probably not.
However, if you are so inclined, you will want to know it is 100% rubber (obviously) and made in Japan. Wait. Lets check out Japan’s birthrate in recent years? Oh, it is declining? Good. The condom probably works like every other condoms in the market.
Befitting its luxury condom status, the Saint Laurent Condom comes in a gold foil packaging with its branding slapped prominently on it. No hint that it is a condom, unless you are familiar with it.
No one will suspect that it is a rubber when it has YSL name on it which should make it more discreet in case one falls out of your wallet as you are fumbling with the cash.
The Saint Laurent Condom can be had for just 2 euro (or about US$2.20) a pop. Yes. You can buy it, but only in its Paris store. It couldn’t be fitting for the city of romance because, you know what comes after romance, don’t you? Of course you do – if you are old enough.
