Samsung CJ79 Curved Monitor

Who will say no to a beautiful computer monitor? I mean, after all, it is the very thing you stare at when working on a computer. If you are as concern about the aesthetic and features like myself do, then the Samsung CJ79 Curved Monitor is the go to computer monitor. Billed as the world’s first Thunderbolt 3 QLED Curved Monitor, it features Intel’s Thunderbolt 3 connectivity that provides display, data and power through a single cable and doing so at what Samsung described as “superhero” processing speed of up to 40 Gigabits per second (Gpbs).

To put the speed in perspective, 40 Gbps is 8x faster than today’s USB 3.0. While there are two other curved monitors being offered, it is the CJ79 (model: C34J791) that you want to look out for because, Thunderbolt 3. The CJ79 offers 3,440 x 1,440 pixels of resolution, a 1500R curvature, 300cd of brightness, 178-degree viewing angle, 3,000:1 contrast ratio, 100 Hz refresh rate, 4 ms grey-to-grey (GTS) response time and comes pack with a pair of Thunderbolts 3 (USB-C) ports, a lone HDMI port, one DisplayPort, two USB 3.0 ports, and finally rounding up with 7W x 2 speaker.

We don’t know when the Samsung CJ79 Curved Monitor will be available, or how much it will cost, but other two non-Thunderbolt offerings, the CJ89 43- and 49-inch, are now available over on Amazon UK for £799.99 and up. Keep going for a few more looks.
