remember flip phones? they kind of R.I.P. when smartphone comes about. it is hard to imagine if flip phone will still be relevant in today’s smartphone world – even more so when the demand for bigger screen real estate is growing exponentially, but here it is the Samsung Hennessy Android Flip Phone (SCH-W789), a dual-screen Android flip phone, that combines the awesomeness of Android and the classic handset design for those who long to rekindle their love for flip phone, but not sacrificing on smartphone functionalities. the design may be retro in the mobile phone’s book, but the inside is far from retro. powered by a quad-core 1.2GHz processor and running on TouchWiz-flavored Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, this little guy is equipped with two 3.3-inch HVGA (320 x 480 pixels) touchscreen display and is a dual SIM handset.

other features include capacitive keys (on external display), a 5MP rear shooter, microSD expansion slot, supports both CDMA and GSM radios, a 1,500 mAh battery, plus the usual GPS, Bluetooth and WiFi. as far as we know, the phone is confirmed to be available in China (since it surfaced on the Samsung’s China website), but the rest of the world will just have to wait and see. have a few more look in the gallery below; or hit this link to learn more (it helps if you read Chinese, or read the translated page instead if you don’t).
