Most co-branded gaming chairs stop at a logo, a splash of color, and a marketing meeting that ended five minutes early. The Secretlab McLaren MonoCell Edition Gaming Chair does not belong to that category. This is not a Titan Evo with a McLaren badge and motifs slapped on and a day called. This is McLaren engineering logic applied to something you sit on for far longer than you will ever sit in a McLaren supercar.
At the heart of this chair is a single-piece carbon fiber MonoCell chassis, inspired by the same construction philosophy used in every McLaren road car. The idea is simple and slightly unhinged in the best way. Take the strength, rigidity, and lightness of McLaren’s carbon tubs and turn them into one continuous shell for a chair that does not flex, creak, or pretend it is fine with shortcuts. Layered carbon fiber is stacked with the same obsessive attention to balance, down to the weave pattern, forming a rigid structure shaped with smooth, flowing contours inspired by the McLaren W1’s teardrop cabin.
Wrapped around that shell is Dinamica microsuede, soft, velvety, and straight out of McLaren’s interior playbook. It feels like something that belongs next to a steering wheel with paddle shifters, not a keyboard and mouse. Each chair is also serialized from 1 to 100, which officially makes it rarer than most cars you will ever own, and definitely rarer than your gaming setup deserves.
This is a chair built for people who appreciate engineering over decals and structure over fluff. It is excessive. It is unapologetic. It is also many times more affordable than the thing that inspired it, which feels like a small miracle.

The asking price is a “Holy mother of…” US$1,999. Yes, the price is indeed a shocker, but for the exclusivity, I’d say a lot more affordable than a W1.
