First, there was a kit that will let you turn a Segway miniPRO into a go-kart. Then there was a kit that lets you turn a Ninebot self-balancing Transporter into a battle chariot that shoots water, and now, there is a new kit that will turn Ninebot S Series Self-balancing Transporter into a serious road carver.
Like the previous two kits, the Segway Shredder Kit, as it is called, will completely change how you use the Ninebot self-balancing transporter as well as overhaul the look entirely. Like seriously, just look at the thing. does it even look like the Transporter anymore?
The Shredder Kit will turn a regular Self-balancing Transporter into a rugged ride for a variety of terrains. But the thing is the numbers with the kit on are dependent on the model of Ninebot Self-balancing Transporter it is fitted on.
With the S MAX, you can reach up to 23 mph (37 km/h) and 15.5 miles (25 km) of range. As far as the kit goes, it features a damper adjustment system that allows turn radius adjustments, a high-performance hydraulic steering stabilizer with a rear connecting axle rod, an intelligent wheelie protection system, a high-power LED headlight, and customizable ambient lights.
The Shredder Kit further offers two styles: Land-surfing with a handle suitable for beginners and electric skateboard mode with a remote for control.
The Shredder Kit for Ninebot S Self-balancing Transporter will launch in June through crowdfunding with delivery in September. It will have an MSRP of US$999.99.
