SFYBP Limited Edition Levi’s Kids x Schwinn Sting-Ray Bicycle

San Francisco Yellow Bike Project (SFYBP) is a non-profit, volunteer-driven community bicycle shop that aims to give new life to otherwise dead bikes and put them in the hands of San Franciscans without breaking the bank, while encouraging eco-friendly mode of transportation in the beautiful city. A worthy and meaningful cause, no doubt, which jeans maker, Levi’s and long time bicycle maker, Schwinn have come together to partake by donating one of the five Levi’s Kids x Schwinn Sting-Ray Bicycles to raise fund for SFYBP through a 10-day auction on eBay.

The nostalgia-evoking cobranded bicycle, garbed in a red paint job is numbered edition 1 of 5, features brand logos on the top tube, a saddle stitched like Levi’s jeans with the iconic Levi’s ‘batwing’ red tab, a chain guard with “cross stitched arcuate and rivets” – a nod to a typical Levi’s denim, and interestingly, a rear reflector shaped like the Levi’s ‘batwing’ logo decorated with the ® print for, you know, completeness sake. The auction with reserve kicked off on the July 9, 7 pm and will end on July 19, at the same time. Scroll down for a few more look at the details.
