That’s right. For those who haven’t already heard, Tom Holland, star of the MCU x Sony Pictures Spider-Man, is Nathan Drake. Drake, or Nate, is the protagonist of one of the best-selling video game series on PlayStation. I am a fan and naturally, I have a thing for this upcoming video game-based flick. Here’s what the story is about:
“Based on one of the best-selling, most critically acclaimed video game series of all time, Uncharted introduces audiences to the young street-smart Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) and showcases his first treasure hunting adventure with wisecracking partner Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg). In an action-adventure epic that spans the globe, the two go in the dangerous pursuit of “the greatest treasure never found” while also tracking clues that may lead to Nathan’s long-lost brother.”
I am cool with Tom Holland playing Nate, but Mark Wahlberg as Victor Sullivan? Seriously, Sully is a middle-aged, father figure character and Wahlberg sure does not look like one. Sully is definitely not a hunk like Wahlberg is. Anyways, that does not trash my anticipation for the movie (even though Mark how Mark is partially involved in trashing the Transformers movies). Keep going for the official trailer.
