there are tons of laptops out there claiming to be the most affordable and the most powerful, putting buyers in a constant dilemma. however, if built and style are what you are after, then the Sony VAIO Fit Laptops could be one of the obvious choice. the only catch is, they are not blessed with Haswell processors, but still, they are being offered with up to Intel Core i7-3573 processor and up to 8GB RAM, which should be speedy enough for most everyday productivity and multimedia applications. the image above might not be immediately obvious, but the Sony VAIO Fit Laptops are no netbook wannabes – they are full-fledge laptops offered in 14″ and 15″ guises, and in two models: VAIO Fit and the VAIO Fit E.

though priced starting from just $549, the design is no slouch: the VAIO Fit (including the E) features premium design, crafted in tough, aluminum materials and Sony’s signature sparkling diamond cut VAIO logo. expect to be greeted by Full HD display on the 15-inch model and HD+ display for the 14-inch model. setting the E and the non-E models apart is (among the few other features), the former is geared towards multimedia experience and hence the inclusion of big box speakers with the Fit 15E model even sporting a subwoofer. the Sony VAIO Fit Laptops are available now from Sony online store, as well as in person at Sony retail stores and other authorized dealers. hit past the jump for a few more look at both the Fit and Fit E models, or head on down to Sony web store for more detail specs.
