The Sony WF-1000XM3 True Wireless Earbuds earbuds from two years ago have received rave reviews. This year, Sony is set to set a new standard for active noise cancellation in TWS earbuds with a follow up, the Sony WF-1000XM4 True Wireless Earbuds.
The WF-1000XM4 now rocks a newly designed Integrated Processor V1 that Sony said “takes noise canceling performance of the QN1e chip” found the WF-1000XM3 and “goes even further.”
Integrated Processor V1 brings to the table enhanced sound quality and reduces distortion, while enabling LDAC codec processing and DSEE (Digital Sound enhancement Engine) Extreme.
On the audio reproduction front, the WF-1000XM4 gets specially designed 6 mm drivers with high compliance diaphragm for rich bass range, support for High-Resolution Audio Wireless, Adaptive Sound Control, and Sony’s 360 Reality Audio (when use with participating streaming services app).
Other notables include hands-free calls with Precise Voice Pickup Technology, voice assistant enabled, wear detection for automatic pause and play music, IPX4 water resistance rating, and up to 8 hours of play time and up to 16 hours from its wireless charging case. Speaking of battery, a 5-minute quick charge offers up to 60 minutes of playtime.
All these are pack inside a super sleek design that is lighter and more stable in fit. And oh, the charging case is also smaller too.
The Sony WF-1000XM3 TWS Earbuds is available to order today in black or silver for US$279.99 at Sony.com, Amazon, and Best Buy.
