WD Collab With Nintendo For Licensed microSDXC For Nintendo Switch

You can use any microSDXC to bump up your Nintendo Switch’s storage capacity, but for connoisseurs, you probably want a Nintendo branded, or at least cobranded, external storage card for, you know, completeness sake. If so, you might be interested in the Nintendo x Western Digital SanDisk microSDXC for Nintendo Switch. Sony’s New SF-G Series SD Cards Write At 299 MB/s, Claims As World’s Fastest

Sony has announced a new SD cards, the SF-G series, which the electronics giant claimed “will be the world’s fastest SD cards” when it becomes available this spring. And what is the speed we are talking about? A write speed of up to 299 MB/s. That’s blazing fast as compared to the measly 80 or so we are getting on a Class 10 UHS-I variety and easily topping SanDisk Extreme PRO SDHC UHS-II and Lexar Professional 2000x UHS-II – both which touts read and write speeds of 300 MB/s and 260 MB/s, respectively. Without going too much in depth though, it is without doubt that this super speeds card is reserved for the pros, you know, for those who requires quick successive shooting and of course, 4K video recordings, for examples. SanDisk Shakes Up The Storage World With 1TB SDXC Card Prototype

I am sure most photographers have been annoyed by the need to swap out memory card in the middle of shoot due to memory full. The good news is, this annoyance could finally come to an end – thanks to the unveiling of a whopping 1TB SDXC Card Prototype by SanDisk at this year’s Photokina. Oh. If you don’t already know. SanDisk is now part of Western Digital. The acquisition of the memory card maker by Western Digital Technologies, Inc. was officially completed in May 2016 and it also marks WD’s reaches into a domain previously untapped by the storage solutions provider. Behold! MicroSD Capacity Has Just Reached An Insanely Massive 200GB!

It was around this time last year, SanDisk broke the ground by introducing the then world’s highest capacity microSDXC memory card with 128GB. Over the year since its introduction, 128GB has fast became a norm, but that doesn’t mean users of mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets, have enough. Nope. Storage is never enough. Thankfully, SanDisk were hard at work between then and now, and again serve up another world’s highest capacity microSD card with a whopping 200GB capacity. Man.
