However, one thing I am sure most people can agree on is, he was a dreamer who made dreams come true. And for that, he deserved our respect. since the news of the death of Apple’s former CEO and co-founder, Steve Jobs, the world has seen a host of tribute coming from fans from around the world. however, there’s no tribute that can be more appropriate than what Mint Foundry, a research team at London and New York based firm Mint Digital, has created. the team has created a portrait of Steve Jobs but this is no ordinary portrait, it is a portrait made up from a disassembled MacBook Pro. a fitting tribute to the man who, among other beautiful innovations, created the MacBook Pro and redefined how we look at mobile computing forever. Apple has announced in a statement on Wednesday, October 5, that the Apple co-founder and former CEO Steve Jobs has passed away. at the time of his death Jobs was 56 years of age. often considered as one of the greatest American CEOs of our time, Jobs died after a year long and highly publicized battle with a rare form of pancreatic cancer. when Jobs stepped down as a CEO in August, the world – tech industry watchers and consumers, alike – worries what will become of this tech company that literally reshaped the landscape for consumer electronics and now that he’s gone, what lies ahead of Apple is even more a mystery. originally set for release on March next year, the official Steve Jobs biography – now officially titled as Steve Jobs: A Biography – is set to be available this November. well, at least that’s what Barnes and Noble is saying. the last check with Amazon, the March 6 date remains unchanged. interestingly, we also see an update to the biography’s cover on B&N’s website, as well as Amazon’s. under the unsurprisingly minimalist cover are 448 pages of content that is based on more than 40 interviews with Steve Jobs, along with interviews with his family and friends. the book is available now for pre-order from both B&N and Amazon for $20.40 a pop (hardcover). join me after the break for a full description of the biography.
