Sharp was the first to reveal the first 8K TV in 2017 and it was not until 2018 we saw a couple, this time it was from one of the world’s largest display panel makers, LG Electronics and Samsung. The smartphone industry has seen little to no innovation since its popularization by Apple 12 years ago. Since the first full, colored touch display rolled into the market, things hasn’t change a whole. Sure, we have better display, under display fingerprint sensor, and better cameras, but really, as far as usability, smartphones remain largely the same. LG Brings ThinQ Artificial Intelligence To Its 2018 Super UHD TV Lineup

The hottest, non-visible thing in 2018 will be artificial intelligence. Not only this potential sci-fi nightmare technology has made its way to smartphone, it now will make its presence felt in TVs too – all thanks to LG. LG has just announced the company’s 2018 TV lineup which will comes with ThinQ artificial intelligence technology out-of-the-box. Select models will even have LG’s advanced α (Alpha) processor which LG hope they (the TVs) will help it “solidify its position in the global market for premium TVs.” All told, LG has unveiled ten new AI-enabled OLED TV models for 2018 at a launch event in Seoul, South Korea on March 5, 2018. Sony A8F 4K HDR TV Is Loaded With Tech, Uses Its Screen To Produce Audio

One thing that will never not appeared in a big electronic show like the CES is TV. There are abundance of them on the show floor at CES from companies big and small, but we are all ears for what Sony has to offer with its new A8F 4K HDR OLED TV with Acoustic Surface. It is not immediately clear that the official product name, A8F 4K HDR OLED TV, is also about sound – a department which not many TV has a reason to show off. But A8F has a lot to be proud about because, if it delivers as it has promised, you may very well never need a sound bar at all.
