Another Takara Tomy Transformers toy news for today. Prior to the reveal of the toy color MP-44S and MP-56+, it was revealed there will be another Transformers Masterpiece coming your way. This time, it is the Autobot Hoist that has gotten the Masterpiece treatment.
The Takara Tomy Transformers Masterpiece MP-58 Hoist [JP] converts from a licensed Toyota Hilux 4WD tow truck to a robot and vice versa. While it is based on the real-life Hilux, Takara Tomy said that the two truck mode’s proportion is actually closer to that in the cartoon.
As with all Transformers Masterpiece toys from Takara Tomy, it comes with a bunch of accessories that let you play out some of the most memorable scenes of the character.
The accessories include a cartoon-accurate replacement grille, a grapple arm, hammer, wrench, robot mask, alternate face plate, alternate hand, and blast effect accessories.
As always, it comes in the original packaging and Japanese-language instructions.
The Takara Tomy Transformers Masterpiece MP-58 Hoist will hit the market in late January 2024, for 24,200 yen (about US$175). Folks in Japan can pre-order it now from the Takara Tomy website as well as from Amazon Japan (16,876 yen).
