remember back in October last year, we did mention that there might be a The Dark Knight Trilogy Ultimate Collector’s Edition coming your way in 2013? well, we are half way through 2013 already and finally, we have official words from Warner Bros about its availability plus some details; this 6-disc collectible will be reaching the stores on September 24. along with the three movies from the trilogy, you can expect to find copies of The Dark Knight Special Features, The Dark Knight Rises Special Features (Batman Begins Feature film and Special Features comes as one disc), a Bonus Disc containing never-before-seen footage, insights to the creation of the franchise, exclusive interviews and a chat with Christopher Nolan and Richard Donner.

being possibly the grandaddy of The Dark Knight collection, it will come packed with exclusive memorabilia which includes three premium Mattel Hot Wheels vehicles (Batpod, Batmobile, as well as Tumbler), a 49-page hardcover book with production stills and behind the scenes images from all three films, and a set of Mondo collectible art cards featuring all your favorite supervillains. all told, expect The Dark Knight Trilogy Ultimate Collector’s Edition to set you back at $99.97 (SRP). in meantime, scroll down for a The Dark Knight Rises Ultimate Trilogy trailer for some refresher.

PS: the ‘Batmobile’ toy looks more like The Bat, which is the aircraft. i wonder if there was a typo in the PR text?
