Stuart Semple is a multidisciplinary artist with a reputation as a renegade for colors. Semple is not fond of big corporations or individuals who claim ownership of colors, denying others the right to use the colors. In answering to color exclusivity he made his own, including an alternative blackest substance and his very own version of Barbie pink.
The man’s crusade to liberate colors turned his attention to another iconic color: Tiffany Blue which was registered as a color trademark in 1998 and eventually standardized as a custom color created by Pantone exclusively for Tiffany. As in the case of Barbie pink, no one is allowed to use the color besides Tiffany. Enters Stuart Semple.

He made an alternative to the world’s whitest white too.
