USB powered display isn’t the newest news but this compact little item from Toshiba could be a winner by just its price alone. this mobile monitor sports a 14-inch widescreen high definition display with a resolution of 1366 x 768px and can be powered via USB or the optional AC adapter. however, the former will only give you a lower brightness. measuring less a inch thick and weights a mere 2.8 lbs, this is one display that you can easily pack in along with your laptop. the monitor comes encased with a custom-fitted carrying case which not only protects the device but also doubles as a stand. you know, if i didn’t scrutinize closely, i would have thought this $199 gadget is an oversized tablet.
