Transformers Netflix Crashing on K Wave Stop Motion

You have watch the awesome new Transformers anime, Netflix’s Transformers: War For Cybertron – Siege. It is pretty dark for what it is. Definitely not the childhood’s Transformers you may have come to expect. But it is not all doom and gloom because, there’s actually a flip side to this alien species of killer organic robots – a narcissistic side (as a faction), to crudely puts it, that results in hilarity.

What you are about to see is a stop motion short created by Counter656 Productions, commissioned by Hasbro and Netflix to promote the new Transformers series currently streaming on Netflix. The result is not what you expect. It answered the question “what if Transformers’s universe had social media?”

I am surprised this scene wasn’t outside a fried chicken restaurant.

The result is two factions trying to outdo each other on social media for, you know, the holy grail of social media age, likes. It is totally hilarious. The fact there is no spoken language and emojis are used instead, makes this short all the more fun.

The stop motion not only served to promote the series, but also the Hasbro/Takara Tomy toy line which is based on. Clever. Very clever. Here, have a look and maybe, just maybe, your weekend that is about to end will feel a little brighter.
