Good news for fans of Transformers who are building up the entire The Transformers: The Movie Studio Series collection, because, well, Hasbro has more for you. Joining the likes of Scourge, Thundercracker, Soundwave, Hound, and more are three new iconic characters from the 1986 animated feature film: Cyclonus, Blitzwing, and Cliffjumper.
Revealed at CCXP Mexico (April 24, 25, and 26, 2026) are the Transformers Studio Series The Transformers: The Movie Voyager Class Decepticon Cyclonus, Transformers Studio Series The Transformers: The Movie Leader Class Decepticon Blitzwing, and Transformers Studio Series The Transformers: The Movie Deluxe Class Cliffjumper—who thankfully did not die like he did numerous times in the original G1 continuity (he did not even escape this deadly fate in the Bumblebee movie either. Poor dude!).
Anyhoo, there are not many details. Then again, save for Cliffjumper, we may not need more details because both Cyclonus and Blitzwing are rehashes of the 2021 Transformers Generations War for Cybertron: Kingdom Voyager Cyclonus and the 2022 Transformers Generations Legacy Blitzwing, only with tweaks to the colors.
The latter is most obvious with Cyclonus’ gray/silver parts now in a light pink hue. It also appears to have a brand-new face sculpt. As for Blitzwing, it gets movie-accurate colors. It now has a more vibrant yellow helmet, with the same stoic face sculpt but in a white/grayish color as opposed to the 2022 release’s silver. The beige parts have been replaced with a skin-tone color, while the purple is of a lighter shade. The inner flaps are now in gray, allowing the panel lines to shine more. Finally, we noted that some silver areas have been replaced with gray or other colors.
I don’t believe there was a toon-accurate Cliffjumper in recent years, though. I might be wrong.
Anyhoo, as far as Studio Series Cyclonus goes, it stands 6.5 inches tall in bot mode and converts to a Cybertronian jet mode in 28 steps. It comes with his signature blaster, which he can hold or attach in spaceship mode.
Meanwhile, one of the most notable triple changers from the Transformers franchise, Blitzwing, stands 8.5 inches tall and converts between robot, jet, and tank modes in 41 steps. He comes with blasters, a sword, and Energon gauntlets.
Finally, we have everyone’s favorite mini-bot: Cliffjumper, with an aesthetic inspired by his appearance in The Transformers: The Movie. He is a tiny 4-inch figure that converts from bot to car in 23 steps. He is furnished with a blaster accessory. No bazooka, though, for ambushing Megatron.
All three figures will be presented in the now-familiar Studio Series window boxes, and they will be available for pre-order on April 28, 2026, at 1 PM ET on HasbroPulse.com. They are expected to hit shelves in Fall 2026.
