After the first wave of NFL x Transformers action figures, NFL fans must have been wondering where’s Minnesota Vikings Skolgrin, Buffalo Bills Blizz-herd, or the San Francisco 49ers Goldrush. Well, wonder no more. These teams are represented in this latest wave.

Joining fellow football teams like the Kansas City Chiefs KC-59, Dallas Cowboys, and more are the Minnesota Vikings Skolgrin, the Buffalo Bills Blizz-herd, and the San Francisco 49ers Goldrush.
As expected, all three figures—the Transformers NFL Minnesota Vikings Skolgrin, the Transformers NFL Buffalo Bills Blizz-herd, and the Transformers NFL San Francisco 49ers Goldrush—are born from the same mold as the first wave of transforming football helmets. Each figure stands 14 cm (5.5 inches) tall in robot mode, converts between robot and a football helmet in 23 steps, and comes supplied with a mini helmet that the figure can wear in robot mode, plus a mini football accessory that the robot figure can hold.
All of them are Autobots, naturally, and, in addition to the obvious team colors and logos, each figure proudly wears the iconic red Autobot logo on its chest in robot mode. As a helmet, it is, well, a regulation football helmet—scaled down, NON-WEARABLE—in each team’s colors.
Hasbro did not detail the number of articulations, so we will just leave it at that. For Transformers toy collectors, you know if you know.
Anyhoo, for some reason, these three newly revealed figures come with a price bump. The first wave was on Amazon for US$24.99 for a short period before going to US$27.99. Now the three new NFC transforming helmets cost US$29.99 each. It’s a US$2 increase, and that, by any toy standards, is significant.
In case anyone is interested in an alternative shopping platform, the Transformers NFL Buffalo Bills Blizz-herd, and the Transformers NFL San Francisco 49ers Goldrush are also available for pre-order on Amazon for US$29.99 each.
