Do not confuse this with the tease trailer you saw in September. What you see here is the official trailer for the Netflix’s Transformers: War for Cybertron – Earthrise, fresh out of the Netflix’s oven.

Transformers: War for Cybertron Earthrise Official Trailer

Being the official trailer, it has quite a bit going on, so look away if you are afraid of spoilers. No surprised here. This next installment of WFC is pretty dark. Here’s the official description:

“With the Allspark missing, and the Ark marooned in deep space, Optimus Prime and the surviving Autobots run a desperate race against time while they contend against an independent group of Transformers called the Mercenaries, as well as the wrath of a desperate Megatron.”

Look who have decided to join in the fun?

In a gist, the war for Cybertron continues elsewhere outside of Cybertron because, of the Allspark. The title of the show already hinted where. Like I have said earlier, there’s a quite a bit going on the official trailer. Bits like the debut of another faction of Transformers, the appearance of Quintesson Judge, Unicron, and also, ermm, wait, what? Nemesis Prime?

I end up having more questions. But no more pressing questions like: Megatron and Galvatron are two separate characters? Do Unicron not play apart in turning Megatron into Galvatron? Will there be Cyclonus? Man, I seriously have too many questions.

Transformers: War for Cybertron Earthrise Official Trailer

I don’t believe there will be another “revealing” trailer since the Transformers: War for Cybertron – Earthrise is expected to start streaming on Netflix on December 30, 2020.
