Any fan of Universal Studios Hollywood here? I am. My favorite attraction of USH has to be the backlot. But as much as adore the backlot, I secretly wish guests could get down the tram at some point to, you know, “mingle” around the sets. Well, you know what? Looks like this wish has just come true!
As part of Universal Studios Hollywood’s 60th Anniversary celebration of their iconic Studio Tour from April 26 to August 11, 2024, USH revamped the backlot tour. The tour, which originally launched in 1964, is treated to new scripts, media content, and the return of the nostalgic candy-striped Glamor Trams.
For the first time in years, guests will also have the chance to step off the tram and explore one of the movie sets on foot. Now, that’s what I am talking about! So, if you are a fan, do note the dates to make sure you hit up USH on the right days.
Additional highlights include a special edition Studio Tour featuring classic moments from past tours like the Runaway Train attraction, and the update of “Earthquake – The Big One” to resemble a modern subway station.
