Lincoln With A 15-Foot Tree - Weird Stuff

We usually don’t do this, but this ‘news’ here is so hilarious that it would be a crime not to share. Anyways, as we all know, police serves the community and as they go about doing that, they often witness many weird happenings and this case was one of them. This happened in Illinois, U.S. back in January 23, when a police officer on patrol pulled over a woman driving a Lincoln Town Car with an unusual “hood ornament” – a real tree that stands roughly 15 feet tall. The tree was not actually on the hood; it was lodged in the front grill and from what we see, it was angled in such a way that the bottom was well inside the engine bay.

According to the Roselle Police Department, an officer spotted the ‘tree car’ driving southbound on Roselle Road and naturally, he had to pull it over to check out what was going on. I mean, not everyday you will see a car driving around with a large tree as a “hood ornament,” right? Heck, I would even trail it and take pictures if I were to see one. Anyways, the police officer also noticed the airbags had been deployed, which was a clear indication that the car had some impact earlier. That leaves little doubt on what had happened earlier.

The person behind the wheel was 54-year-old Maryann Christy who was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. That said, it was only natural that she couldn’t recall when or where she had the tree “installed” on her Lincoln. Fortunately, she wasn’t hurt, or at least, we didn’t read that she was and hopefully, it was only an accident involving a Town Car and a tree. Our heart goes out to the tree, which would have likely ended as trash since it appears to be sheared off from its roots. You can view the police in-car footage below.
