What you see here is the new Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, which not surprisingly, also has a non-Pro version, the Mi 10. Unlike the the Mi Note 10 Pro, the new Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro do not have a Penta Cam setup.
But never mind it has no Penta Cam because, the Mi 10 Pro’s quad-camera setup, comprising of a 108 MP, 8 MP Telephoto, 12 MP 2x Telephoto and 20 MP ultra wide-angle, has just topped the DxOMark for smartphone with a score of 124 and in the process, dethroned Mate 30 Pro 5G from the top spot.
Apparently, it also topped the DxOMark for smartphone score in the area of audio and video too. Xiaomi is really going all out on the imaging front.
Under the hood, it gets the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC and with it, naturally, it gets 5G capability. It is worthy to note that it is a dual SIM device in which the secondary SIM tray can work with 4G SIM. And oh, with SD865, you also gets 5th-gen AI engine as well.
As far as the Pro goes, the spec-sheet includes a 6.67-inch 90 Hz Samsung AMOLED FHD+ (2,340 x 1,080 pixels) display with 180 Hz touch sampling rate, Adreno 650 587 MHz GPU, 8/12 GB LPDDR5 RAM, 256/512 GB UFS 3.0 flash storage, 8K videoing at 30fps and 1080p slow-mo at up to 960fps, a 20 MP selfie camera (that also capable of slow-mo videoing), Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and a dual speaker with large cavity that earns it the top DxOMark Audio honor.
The Mi 10 Pro is outfitted with a 4,500 mAh (typical) battery that supports QC4+ as well as PD3.0. Plus, the battery is capable of 30W wireless fast charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.
The Mi 10, on the other hand, shares much of the spec-sheet details, including the 6.67-inch AMOLED display, but it loses the two telephoto cameras. In its place are a 2 MP depth sensor and a 2 MP macro snapper paired to the 108 MP main shooter and a 13 MP ultra wide-angle camera. And yeah, it does 8K videoing too.
As for memory, it gets 8/12 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128/256 GB UFS 3.0 storage. The regular Mi 10 gets a 4,780 mAh battery with support for 30W wireless fast charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.
Both the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro are available to order in China.
