Playstation VR Launches in U.S. and Canada

So, after much talk and hype, Playstation VR is finally available and it is officially launched yesterday in the U.S. and Canada, as well as other parts of the world. For starter, over 30 first- and third-party VR games are available as we speak, and it includes Batman: Arkham VR, Battlezone, Driveclub VR, Playstation VR Worlds, and Rigs Mechanized Combat League. And oh, Job Simulator by Owlchemy Labs is available at launch too. Just thought you might be interested. If you did not managed to get the hardware, the PS VR Core Units, through the Taco Bell sweepstake, you can acquire it from major retailers for $399.99. Also, you will need a Playstation 4, controller and of course, Playstation Camera to be able to enjoy VR on a Playstation 4 console.

Each PS VR unit comes with the PS VR system, processor unit, headphones, and all necessary cabling, plus a demo disc that offers you a taste of the varied contents, including games like Eve: Valkyrie, Resident Evil 7 biohazard – Kitchen Teaser, Thumper, Wayward Sky and more. All told, there are 18 titles to sample before deciding which tickles your fancy. If you don’t already know, PSVR, or Playstation VR, headset comes equipped with 5.7-inch OLED screen offering a breathtaking 360-degree vision at 120 fps for smooth, immersive visual experience, while 3D audio technology let you in on all the sonic details and precise head tracking technology, engages you even further.
