It is said that a true automobile connoisseur only has sight on one-off automobiles. The rarest of the rare. Actually. It’s no true. We made that up. However, in case you are a petrol head who demands nothing less than rarity, then may we direct your attention to the one-off 2006 Lamborghini Concept S.
This delightful ride was recently put on the block by RM Sotheby’s at the Yas Marina Circuit on Yas Islands, in Abu Dhabi, UAE (the same sale as the insanely cool slot car). Before you rage at us for telling you this late… you have know that this exotic one-of-a-kind ride has not been sold yet.
It is listed on RM Sotheby’s as “Still For Sale.” So, get ready your check book you crazy rich automobile enthusiasts.
The 2006 Lamborghini Concept S Auction is functional example, btw, not the non-running designs study presented at Geneva in 2005. The production of the car wasn’t green lit due to “exceedingly high cost and time-consuming production” and this ride here ended as the first and last example.
So, yeah, it is a true production-ready, one-off raging bull. In case you are wondering, this one and only example was someone’s order, placed before production was cancelled and it has just 200 kilometers (124 miles) on the odo.
