If you like steampunk stuff, then you will love what Matt of DIY Perks did. Matt has a thing for rustic objects, particular brass and so, he decided to roll up his sleeves and built a one-of-a-kind Brass and Leather Custom PC.

I’ll be honest. The not perfectly rectangular frame did triggered my OCD, but eventually the steampunk-ish appearance won me over. Granted, it is not quite steampunk-ish. It has more of a rustic styling.

Love the attention to details Matt put into this rig. Details like the a brass and leather handle (obviously), brass face plate for the card reader, leather cover for the I/Os, brass grills – just to name a few. The vintage leather looks really stunning against the hand-polished brass. Continue reading for the build video.
