It looks like Dubai Police is not the only law enforcement agency that was swoon over by Tesla Cybertruck. Mexican City Police Force, too, is keen. Actually, they are more than just keen. In fact, Mexican City Mayor Adrián Esper Cárdenas has reportedly “secured reservations for 15 Cybertrucks.”
Of the 15 Cybertrucks, 10 are dual motor models and 5 units are the tri-motor models. It is worthy to note that Tesla isn’t taking pre-orders. As of now, the automaker is only letting interested buyers reserve theirs with a fully refundable $100 deposit. That means nothing has been sealed in ink as yet.
Anywho, like Dubai Police, Mexican City Police Force also created a render of what their crime-fighting trucks would like in the agency’s livery. In addition, the Mayor said he had sent Elon Musk the rendering, apparently in an effort to secure a discount. No words if Musk did response to the Mayor’s request.
Look @elonmusk @Tesla, a municipality in my state bought 15 #Cybertruck this is incredible, I see myself in the future visiting Ciudad Vallés.#CYBRTRK #Tesla pic.twitter.com/E6dBpk9xAL
