2026 Kia EV6 GT Electric Vehicle

If you haven’t already heard: there’s a new Kia EV6 model, and yes, the performance GT variant is back too—now faster, smarter, and somehow even greener… not environmentally, but literally. It was unveiled last December, and the price is finally out—well, at least for the UK. Spoiler: you’ll find it at the bottom.

Packing a new 84kWh battery, the 2026 EV6 GT now boasts up to 279 miles of range, 641 horsepower, and 770Nm of torque. That means 0–62mph in a wild 3.5 seconds, on to a top speed of 161mph. It’s still AWD, still ridiculous, and now comes with a “Virtual Gear Shift” system that simulates a 6-speed paddle gearbox. No, it doesn’t actually need it. Yes, we’re still mashing the paddles like kids in an arcade.

There’s also an upgraded GT Mode—complete with a themed neon-green digital cluster—and a new “MyDrive” mode for those who enjoy fiddling with every setting before reversing out of the driveway.

Outside, it wears its performance badge loud and proud: 21-inch alloys, adaptive LED headlights, and retina-searing neon green brake calipers. Inside, it’s neon city again with green-stitched suede bucket seats, a GT-specific steering wheel, and every screen, light, and feature you could want—including wireless CarPlay/Android Auto, 14-speaker Meridian sound system, fingerprint unlock, and a HUD.

Other highlights include 800V fast charging (10–80% in 18 mins), Vehicle-to-Load capability, regenerative braking paddles, and GT-exclusive styling upgrades like a gloss black trim, eLSD, and those virtual gear noises no one asked for but everyone secretly loves.

As for the damage? In the UK, the 2026 Kia EV6 GT starts at £59,985—a slight drop from the last one, despite all the new toys. Not bad for a family car that’ll roast supercars at the lights.
