Everyone’s favorite super villain from the Star Wars universe, Darth Vader, has made a comeback thanks to the Star Wars series, Obi-Wan Kenobi. And it is this series, fans have another reason to buy another collectible of the symbol of the dark side: the Hot Toys Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi Darth Vader 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure.
There are two versions of the Hot Toys Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi Darth Vader 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure: the standard and the deluxe version – both of which are based on the new live-action series.
This latest figure of Lord Vader is meticulously crafted with a battle-damaged helmet revealing the scarred head sculpt of the former Anakin Skywalker equipped with rolling eyeball function, battle-damaged chest control panel, LED light-up belt boxes, LED light-up Lightsaber, an interchangeable Lightsaber blade emulating the weapon in motion, a pair of Third Sister’s Lightsabers (which a HasLab life-size collectible did not manage to get funded), and a rocky diorama base.
The Deluxe version further adds an interchangeable, non-damaged helmet head, chest control panel, and an additional LED light-up figure base. Furthermore, there is a special edition, which will be offered in select markets, featuring a Grand Inquisitor hologram miniature and holoprojector as bonus times.
The Hot Toys Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi Darth Vader 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure stands around 35 cm (13.8 inches) and has 30 points of articulation. It will be released sometime in Q4, 2023-Q1, 2024.
