PlayStation FlexStrike, Gaming Monitor, Speakers
The wait is almost over for PlayStation’s first wireless fight stick. Sony has locked in launch dates for the FlexStrike and its new 27-inch gaming monitor, while the Pulse Elevate wireless speakers are next in line for desktop gamers.

Remember the FlexStrike wireless fight stick that PlayStation showed off last year? Well, it is finally stepping into the ring. Sony has confirmed that the wireless fight stick will launch globally on August 6, 2026, just in time for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls.

PlayStation FlexStrike Wireless Fight Stick

As we covered previously, the FlexStrike is PlayStation’s first wireless fight stick, built for both PS5 and PC. It features a built-in rechargeable battery and comes bundled with a sling carry case, making it easier to haul to tournaments, local meetups, or that one friend’s house who somehow always wins. Pre-orders open on June 12 for US$199.99.

But the FlexStrike is not arriving alone.

Also heading stateside and to Japan this August is the new 27-inch Gaming Monitor with DualSense Charging Hook. Yes, the name sounds like somebody accidentally pasted two product names together, but the monitor itself is rather interesting. Designed for gamers who spend more time at a desk than in front of a living room TV, it packs a 27-inch QHD IPS panel with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels, variable refresh rate support, up to 120 Hz on PS5 and PS5 Pro, and up to 240 Hz when connected to a compatible PC or Mac.

The monitor also includes a built-in hook for charging and storing a DualSense controller, which is probably the most PlayStation thing PlayStation could have added. Pre-orders begin on June 5, with availability starting August 27. The price is set at US$349.99.

Looking further ahead, Sony also provided an update on the Pulse Elevate wireless speakers. These desktop speakers are scheduled to launch later this year and borrow audio technologies from the Pulse Explore earbuds and Pulse Elite headset. Details remain light for now, but Sony is positioning them as the ideal companion for the new gaming monitor, bringing a more immersive audio experience to desktop gaming setups.

In other words, Sony appears to be paying more attention to the desk than ever before. Between a tournament-ready wireless fight stick, a high-refresh-rate gaming monitor, and a dedicated set of wireless desktop speakers, the company seems determined to make sure the PS5 experience is not confined to the living room.

The 27-inch Gaming Monitor with DualSense Charging Hook follows on August 27 for US$349.99. Pulse Elevate wireless speakers will arrive later this year. Pricing for the speakers has not been revealed, though. Pre-orders for the monitor begin June 5. And to recap, FlexStrike wireless fight stick will launch on August 6 for US$199.99, with pre-orders starting on June 12.
