Acer Predator ES Thunder Pro E-Scooter
Acer’s Predator badge has somewhere to go beyond your desk. The ES Thunder Pro pairs hill-climbing muscle with dual suspension, traction control, and up to 70 kilometers of range. Phone-based tracking and voice controls join the package, while RGB lighting keeps a little of its gaming heritage along for the ride.

Acer’s Predator badge is usually attached to something you sit in front of. The new Predator ES Thunder Pro asks you to stand on it instead. Revealed at IFA 2026, it is the most powerful e-scooter in the Predator lineup, complete with traction control, phone-based tracking, and RGB lighting. Yup. It stays true to the gaming culture.

It follows Acer’s connected mobility announcements at Computex in May. But the Thunder Pro gets top billing here.

Predator ES Thunder Pro: Power for the Climb

Acer Predator ES Thunder Pro E-Scooter

Its rear-drive motor delivers 500 W rated power, peaking at 1,600 W, with 32 Nm (23.6 lb-ft) of torque and support for gradients up to 28%. A 624 Wh battery promises up to 70 kilometers (43.5 miles) per charge.

Speed limits vary by market: 20 km/h, 25 km/h, or 20 mph. The extra muscle is useful for hills, rather than a promise of unrestricted speed.

Suspension, Traction Control, and Some RGB

Ten-inch tubeless off-road tires meet front and rear rocker suspension with spring shocks. Traction control adjusts power on slippery surfaces; disc brakes at both ends, plus rear eABS, handle stopping.

There’s IPX6 water resistance, daytime running lights, indicators, and region-dependent RGB lighting. It folds, weighs 26.5 kilograms (58.4 pounds), and carries up to 120 kilograms (265 pounds). Folding it is one thing. Carrying it upstairs is another.

Your Phone Gets a Job, Too

Apple Find My and Google Find Hub provide location tracking. The Acer eMobility app manages ride data, battery status, lighting, and electronic locking, with voice commands through a phone or smartwatch.

European sales begin in Q1 2027 from €799, approximately US$895.

Acer ES Series 3 Select: The Everyday Supporting Act

Acer ES Series 3 E-Scooter

Introduced at Computex, the ES Series 3 Select takes a simpler approach: a compact, lightweight folding scooter for daily urban trips, with multiple riding modes and updated braking and lighting.

It also joins Acer’s app-connected lineup. On compatible scooters, voice-enabled e-lock functions can lock the system and trigger an alarm when the vehicle is moved. Acer scheduled EMEA availability from June 2026, starting at €349, approximately US$391.

Nitro eCity Plus: A Seat and Room for Cargo

Nitro eCity Plus e-Bike

The other Computex newcomer is an e-bike. The Nitro eCity Plus supports flexible cargo configurations for commuting and family duties, multiple riding modes, and a removable battery that makes charging easier.

The app supplies riding information and movement alerts for anti-theft monitoring. Acer scheduled its Taiwan launch for September 2026 from NT$49,800, approximately US$1,570. For errands involving more than a backpack, this may be the more useful member of the cast.
