When it comes to gaming laptop, no one knows it better than Acer. And ASUS. And Alienware. And Razer. OK. Many knows the game and the many is vying for your hard-earned dough. But we are not here about those; we are here about Acer Predator’s latest portable gaming rig, the Predator Triton 300.
This newest member of the Predator Triton family is thin and lightweight, and one hell of a looker. OK. I may be biased. Packed inside its 2.3 kilograms (5.07 lbs) aluminum chassis are 9th-gen Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA GeForce 1650 GPU, 16 GB of DDR4 2666 Hz memory that is upgradeable to 32 GB and a massive amounts of storage of up to 2x 1 TB PCIe NVMe SSDs in RAID 0 and up to a 2 TB hard drive.
Also expect familiar suspects like Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX 1650, plus Killer Ethernet. And lets not forget that it has a glorious 15.6-inch FHD IPS display, complete with very eye-pleasing narrow bezel design. The display further touts 144 refresh rate and 3 ms overdrive response time.
On the audio department, it is blessed with Waves Nx which, according to Acer, “uses state-of-the-art physical modeling to deliver a realistic and convincing listening experience by virtually mimicking the immersion of ultra-high-end speakers in a perfect acoustically-treated space.” Basically, you can expect a blast in the audio reproduction, even though it is very likely you will be donning a pair of Predator headset.
Acer Predator Triton 300 also touts dual fans with Acer’s 4th-Gen AeroBlade 3D metal fan technology, CoolBoost technology and strategically placed air intake and exhaust vents, plus a keyboard with zoned RGB lighting, dedicated Turbo, Predator Sense keys, and concave shaped and transparent WASD, arrow and dedicated keys.
Acer Predator Triton 300 thin and lightweight gaming laptop will be hitting up EMEA markets beginning October and carries with it a starting price of €1,299.
In a related news, Acer has announced that the Acer Predator Triton 500 gaming laptop is now available in 300 Hz 15.6-inch FHD display. Acer Predator Triton 500 will be available in EMEA markets in November, starting at €2,699. It will drop in North America in December with a starting price of $2,799.99.
