A little more than 5 months to go before the highly anticipated new live-action Transformers movie, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, hit the theaters but Hasbro is dishing new toys based on the new film. Joining Battletrap and Bumblebee are four new Studio Series figures, Airazor, Cheetor, Arcee, and Terrorcon Freezer. The latter two are Core Class figures, btw.

Warning! This article may contain some spoilers, so proceed only if you are cool with spoilers. From the brief official teaser trailer, we kind of know that Beast Wars characters Airazor (voiced by Michelle Yeoh) and Cheetor will play a key role in the movie, and sure enough, the toys’ description hints this, albeit in a one-liner.

The Airazor, according to the product page, “leads the Autobots to the Maximal lair” while Cheetor, also according to its product page, and the Maximals “team up with the Autobots to protect the Transwarp key.” Though quite spoilers, these statements kind of spell out part of the plot.

Anyhoo, Transformers Studio Series Deluxe 97 Airazor stands 4.5 inches (11.43 cm) tall, features movie-inspired details, and accessories, and converts from a robot to a peregrine falcon in 23 steps.

Transformers Studio Series Voyager 98 Cheetor also boasts movie-inspired details and accessories and converts from a 6.5-inch (16.51 cm) robot to a cheetah in 24 steps.

Both figures come with a Peruvian Jungle Discovery removable backdrop scene. And then there are small Studio Series Core Class Arcee and Terrorcon Freezer.

Like Airazor and Cheetor both Arcee and Terrocon Freezer are inspired by the upcoming Transformers movie. Arcee is 3.5 inches (8.89 cm) tall and converts from a robot to a motorcycle in 11 steps.

Meanwhile, the 3.6-inch (9.14 cm) Terrocon Freezer figure can convert from robot to 3 different weapon modes. However, further images of his alt modes are not available.

All figures are recommended for ages 8 and up, and are available to order now. The Transformers Studio Series Deluxe 97 Airazor sells for US$24.99, the Transformers Studio Series Voyager 98 Cheetor for US$34.99, and both Studio Series Core Class figures cost US$11.99 each.
