Casio’s G-SHOCK and Baby-G line of watches are hugely popular which explains why Casio is refreshing the line so very often. just not long ago we heard about the Baby-G Ana-Digi Multi Color Dial series and last week, Casio announced yet another addition to its Baby-G range in time for this splashing summer. the watch design drew its inspiration from deep sea divers watch and will sport “the always functional Baby-G staple characteristics.”

the watch features a new hybrid stainless steel and resin link band, a large diver clock face as well as a baguette style-cut bezel protectors. its a Baby-G, so naturally it is equipped with the shock resistance that it has always been known for. aside, it is water resistance up to 100M and other features include LED light, 48-city world time, 5 daily alarms, 1/100th second stopwatch, countdown timer and 12/24 hour formats. in his words, Shigenori Itoh, Chairman & CEO of Casio America said:
The Baby-G BGA123-7A2 mode is an ideal functional watch for women this summer… it allows women to stay fashionable while enjoy the water sports that are a staple of the season.
hmmm… water sports huh? what a way to put it. anyway, the watch will be available at Tourneau, Nordstrom, select Macy’s stores and fashion boutiques and has a MSRP of $160. not very much expensive if you consider how much a decent watch would cost these days.
