Folks, meet the Legendary Mercedes W196R, a LEGO Ideas set proposed by LEnoGO. LEnoGO’s creation is a replica of the legendary F1 race car at a 1:8 scale and has over 1,600 elements.
Key features include an operating control system, air inlets that can be opened, and a removable engine cover to reveal the engine compartment, a LEGO recreation of the R8 power plant.
LEnoGO said his proposed build measures 54.5 cm long, 21.5 cm wide, and 14 cm tall (21.5 x 8.5 x 5.5 inches), and tips the scale at around 1.6 kilograms (3.5 pounds).
