After celebrating the “birth” of Batman with a unique statue piece, Superkraft is back to please DC fans with yet another DC Comics icon’s birth: Superman. The Superman: Birth of Hope is a handsome statue that depicts the Kryptonian’s origin.

It features the Man of Steel in his OG getup, i.e., red cape, blue skin-tight body suit with the classic “S” emblem, red boots, and red underpants with a yellow belt. Superkraft narrated the beginning with the superhero himself, his baby self—complete with the Kryptonian escape pod, and his mancave on Earth, the Fortress of Solitude.
So, yeah, this isn’t your usual “hero-standing-on-a-rock” collectible. This one actually tells a story—Superman watching over his infant self as the escape pod rests gently below, with his iconic cape flowing into the shape of the “S” emblem, doubling as a symbol of protection and hope. Behind it all, the Fortress of Solitude gleams in clear resin, recreating its crystalline landscape so faithfully that it could double as a Kryptonian architectural model. At the rear, Jor-El and Lara appear as ethereal guardians, sculpted into the icy crystal formations like proud parents frozen in time.
Crafted from polystone, PU, and clear resin, this 676 x 354 x 282 mm (H x W x D) piece is limited to just 200 + 1 units. Sculpted by NiBil Studio and directed by Emiliano Calderon, the statue comes with customization options, including a gold-plated emblem for collectors who think “hope” should also come with some bling. You can also choose to go gold for the belt and have a gold-plated escape pod logo, too. If that’s not enough, you drop more bills to secure a neutral cape, a.k.a. a non “S” cape. Personally, that will be my choice.
Each statue bears the heartfelt quote: “Live as one of them, Kal-El, to discover where your strength and your power are needed.” And if you’re feeling lucky, every order automatically enters a raffle for a chance to win a free upgrade to the Noir Edition, with the winner to be announced in December 2025.
The Superman: Birth of Hope statue is priced from US$1,799 and is expected to ship between October and December 2026.
