Someone left this interesting hat tip with us, but with a description that’s nearly as odd as the product is. Weird it might be, it is still something that beckons you to take a second look. Anyways, this Cow Head Backpack probably won’t go well with vegans, or should we say, any conventional person, but like I said, it is still strangely attractive. The tipster provide as a redirected link that does not lead to the said product, but we managed to find a website called MeetIDEA that sells this exact same bag. The description somewhat different from the one we have; a little more detailed, I would say. Anywho, it is handcrafted from genuine leather. Here’s the description:
“Super cool Cow Head Backpack was made of head layer crazy-horse leather,100% genuine leather handmade backpack. It features the shape of a cow head. Due to it’s special material and exquisite craftsmanship, it looks exactly like a cow head. It is not only a special backpack, but also serves as a good decoration in your house and even amulet in eastern culture.”
For uninitiated, do not be alarmed by “crazy-horse leather.” It is not actually horse skin (duh), but a term commonly used to describe saddle leather, which is a type of treated leather which, when rubbed, the color of the rubbed portion changes. This change in color will not reverse immediately, thus giving the leather an antique-look (think suede). It’s good that the tipster explains that it could also be used as decor piece, since some maybe too shy to bring it out. Though, we are not too sure about the amulet aspect. In any case, it is those kind of bag that if you want it, you want it and if you don’t, you don’t. And oh, it is not cheap too, costing a grand $180 a pop.
