Hideo Kojima has returned with Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, launching June 26, 2025, on PS5. If you thought you’d seen the last of mysterious babies, long treks across haunting landscapes, and existential dread wrapped in a gorgeous cinematic experience, think again.
For a taste of what’s coming, check out the Death Stranding 2 announce trailer, which features everything you’d expect: Norman Reedus looking tired, strange contraptions carrying cargo, and an atmosphere dripping with weirdness.

Collector’s Edition—For Those Who Love Physical Goods
Pre-orders go live on March 17, and Kojima Productions is rolling out multiple editions. The Collector’s Edition (US$229.99) comes with a 15” Magellan Man statue, a 3” Dollman figurine, art cards, and a letter from Kojima himself, possibly thanking you for supporting his creative madness. Also included are in-game goodies like golden skeleton suits and a machine gun with MP bullets.
The Digital Deluxe Edition (US$79.99) includes most of the in-game bonuses without the physical collectibles, while the Standard Edition (US$69.99) offers just the game for those who simply want to walk across America again without extra frills.
Even More Stranding: A Concert Tour
If you ever wanted to hear Death Stranding’s hauntingly beautiful soundtrack live, a worldwide concert tour kicks off on November 8, 2025, starting at the Sydney Opera House. Expect moody orchestral pieces that make you reflect on life while imagining yourself delivering packages in the rain.
June 26 is coming. Get ready to strand, reconnect, and carry more cargo than any human should.
